Samsung 960 EVO NVMe SSD Benchmarks On Linux
Overall the Samsung 960 EVO was performing well with the exception of SQLite. However, the Samsung 950 PRO tended to be faster in a number of the tests, but the 960 EVO did come out on top in a few of them. On Amazon, the 950 PRO 250GB SSD retails for $215 USD while the Samsung 960 EVO 250GB is selling for $160 USD. For those after a lower-cost NVMe-based SSD, the Intel 600p 256GB goes for just around $100 USD albeit as you can see from the results the performance is lower.
