The main competition to the Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001 in this article is the WD VelociRaptor WD1500HLHX-0 due to its higher spin-rate.

The Seagate ST2000DM001-1E61 performed surprisingly poor in FS-Mark considering some of the other drives were SATA 2.0 and also at the lower 5400RPM RPM while it boasted the highest capacity of 2TB.
