Clear Linux stepped up its game when it came to Redis performance.
On the higher-end Intel systems, openSUSE appears to run into a noticeable performance regression for the Python PyBench that wasn't observed on the Xeon or Threadripper systems. Between Clear Linux and Antergos, the Intel open-source distribution was faster.
For the last of this benchmarking roundabout to get September started, PHP continued running much faster on Clear Linux over Antergos and openSUSE. OpenSUSE on the i7-8086K and i9-7960X systems continued running into a strange performance regression in this test as well.
