The retbleed=stuff operation was also helping with the OpenJDK Java workloads in recovering the IBRS performance penalty on this Xeon Skylake server.
Across a wide variety of workloads, the Call Depth Tracking mitigation was showing to be clearly less impactful than the default IBRS mitigation for Retbleed.
