Initial Benchmarks Of The SpacemiT K3 RVA23 RISC-V CPU With The K3 Pico-ITX
For code compilation performance on the SpacemiT K3, it's much faster than the SiFive P550 Premier RISC-V single board computer which is expected especially given the additional cores. The performance though for simple GCC code compilation of different projects was behind the Raspberry Pi 500+ and Loongson 3B6000 as well as the Intel/AMD CPUs by a significant margin.
The SpacemiT K3 Pico-ITX is one of the most powerful RISC-V mini computers currently available.
With the single-threaded PHP benchmark we see the K3 providing 2.1x better performance with its X100 core than the SiFive P550 but still behind the LoongArch and Arm Cortex-A76 performance within the Raspberry Pi 500+.
With the OpenSSL benchmarks we begin to see the SpacemiT K3 Pico ITX mini computer outperforming the Raspberry Pi 500+.
The SpacemiT K3 was outperforming the Raspberry Pi 500+ and Loongson 3B6000 in these OpenSSL benchmarks and being wildly faster than the SiFive P550 single board computer, but at the end of the day still behind the current-generation Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen desktop CPUs.
