In the case of DeepSpeech as Mozilla's speech-to-text engine powered by TensorFlow, the Tiger Lake laptop saw a larger relative hit to the performance than the Renoir laptop.
In the case of DeepSpeech, the Core i7 1165G7 was not clocking as high on battery.
For RNNoise as a recurrent neural network for audio noise reduction, both laptops saw similar hits to performance on battery.
