TUXEDO OS Delivering Some Performance Gains Over Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Over the course of dozens of benchmarks, TUXEDO OS based on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS came out slightly ahead of upstream (K)Ubuntu.

With the higher performance came a higher CPU temperature and power consumption in the "default" out-of-the-box profile while via the TUXEDO Control Center one can choose a power-saving profile if wanting to extend their battery life and are less concerned about performance.

Overall though TUXEDO OS in the default profile had slightly better performance-per-Watt than Kubuntu 22.04.1 LTS.

Those wanting to try out TUXEDO OS 1 can download it via TUXEDOComputers.com.
