The Ubuntu 21.10 performance overall was looking like a nice upgrade for this Dell XPS laptop one year after launch.
When moving from Ubuntu 21.04 to 21.10, performance regressions were rare with Google's SynthMark being one of the few test cases running slower.
Intel Tiger Lake performance is certainly moving in the right direction on Ubuntu 21.10.
