Sabayon 7 vs. Ubuntu 11.10 Performance

With the experimental Fusion kernel the 7-Zip compression performance was slower than the stock Linux 3.0 kernel.
The experimental Fusion kernel was also slower when it came to x264 media encoding. In the three other test states, there was virtually no performance difference.
Ubuntu 11.10 was slightly faster when it came to FLAC audio encoding compared to Sabayon and its two kernels.
Ubuntu 11.10 was slightly faster than Sabayon 7 with the John The Ripper benchmarks.
