Surprisingly for this Ryzen 9 5900X box, NAMD on Windows was slightly faster than Ubuntu Linux.
But for most CPU workloads, Ubuntu 21.10 tended to outpace Windows 10/11 on this AMD Ryzen 9 desktop.
Or in some cases, deliver similar performance between platforms.
