Above is a look at the results with a measurable difference between platforms. Overall there was some very healthy competition between Windows 10 and Ubuntu 21.04 on this Ryzen 9 5900HX laptop, much more so than we are used to seeing...

ubuntu did lead in 39 of the 68 benchmarks.

But when taking the geometric mean of all 68 benchmarks, Windows 10 nudged ahead. That's in contrast to the likes of the recent Windows vs. Linux Intel Tiger Lake benchmarks with similar tests where Ubuntu 21.04 had a much more pronounced lead over Windows.
