With x11perf the results are all over the place... In some of these micro-tests, the X.Org Server 1.16 is faster as should be expected given the recent GLAMOR optimizations, however, in some of the tests the performance of the new xorg-server 1.16 is lower than in 1.15.1.
The Radeon HD 7950 seemed to see more performance changes with the upgraded server than the Radeon R7 260X.
