Laptop Power, Boot Times With Ubuntu 17.04

With single-threaded LAME MP3 encoding, the power numbers were close but if anything Ubuntu 17.04 is using faintly more power than 16.10/16.04.

The threaded timed kernel compilation process saw about the same power draw.

While we saw some fluctuations in boot performance between Ubuntu 16.04 and 17.04, the battery power consumption numbers for the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon were largely indifferent. Then again, this Broadwell hardware has been well supported under Linux for some time. Unfortunately, no Kabylake laptop hardware testing yet on Phoronix. I will carry out some similar boot and power consumption tests on other distributions and using newer desktop hardware on Phoronix in the days/weeks to come for those interested.
