Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has said he is hoping that a "major exchange" of prisoners of war will take place at Easter.

Quote: "Our joint work continues every day, negotiations are ongoing, and new exchanges will take place. I very much hope that we will all see a major exchange at Easter. And we will do whatever it takes to make this happen."
Details: Budanov noted that over the course of the Headquarters' work, more than 70 exchanges have taken place and over 8,500 Ukrainians have returned home.
He emphasised that many exchanges would have been "almost impossible" without Ukraine's foreign partners, adding that the United States and the United Arab Emirates in particular have provided significant assistance in this regard.
Background: On 4 March, 200 more defenders returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity in the first stage of an exchange under agreements reached in Geneva.
