A 79-year-old man who was injured in a Russian drone attack on the city of Odesa on 28 March has died in hospital on 3 April, bringing the death toll to four.

This morning [3 April – ed.] a 79-year-old resident of Odesa died in hospital."

Details: Lysak said the man had been receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the attack, but his body could not withstand them.

The administration head expressed condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.

Background:

• On the night of 27-28 March, the Russians launched a large-scale strike on Odesa, deploying over 60 strike drones.
• On 31 March, a 76-year-old man who had sustained serious injuries during the Russian drone attack on 28 March died in Odesa, bringing the death toll at the time to three.
