“Empowerment through Entrepreneurship”
San Francisco Disability Business Alliance (SFDBA) helps individuals with disabilities achieve economic self-sufficiency through small business ownership and entrepreneurship.
It is the only community benefit organization in the Bay Area solely dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs with all types of disabilities. By providing access to business development support, nurturing entrepreneurial initiatives, guiding with registrations and certifications, and by advocating for effective local government policies, SFDBA ensures that individuals with disabilities have an equal and inclusive opportunity to make their mark in the business world and that the Bay Area benefits fully from the expertise, diversity, and innovation these businesses and individuals have to offer.
July 7th 11AM-2PM, San Francisco Public Library
Join us for a life-size version of the classic board game LIFE. This fun event will be moderated by Peter DeHaas, our founder and executive director. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and ASL interpretation will be provided.
This event is organized by SF Community Living, a non-profit organization helping elderly people and people with disabilities stay connected, independent, and involved through local programs, tech support, food deliveries, and advocacy.
If you’re thinking about a social media refresh or professional headshot, please consider Michael with Michael Pegram Photography and support his new generous initiative, Headshots For Humanity: For every headshot session, Michael is donating $50 to our Alliance with the goal to raise $5,000.
We are grateful for his initiative supporting our mission of helping small business owners with disabilities grow and thrive
Nov 5th, 2025 - SFDBA celebrated its 5th anniversary during its annual Bay Area Disability Entrepreneurship Event and delivered a powerful message, highlighting how entrepreneurship can open doors to self-sufficiency and allow individuals with disabilities to thrive as business owners.
