Grand Orange Lodge of Ghana
The Loyal Orange Institution of Ghana is part of the World Wide Orange fraternity made up of a number of Christians whose beliefs are based on the Reformation Principles and the truths contained in the Open Bible. Our Membership is opened to individuals who believe in the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and the practice of the reformed faith.
We have just started our news letter which we have named the "Orange Flame". The maiden copies were produced in June 2000, and we will circulate copies through out the Orange World. We are also trying to manufacture some memorabilia which we shall send to Lodge overseas to market the Grand Orange Lodge of Ghana around the World.
As the motto goes "No Surrender" we have resolved to carry on the battle un-relentlessly until success is ours.

Newtownards Ex-Servicemen
L.O.L 1952
www.ex-servicemen.co.uk
Newtownards Ex-Servicemen LOL 1952 was formed on Monday 09th August 1948. The ceremony was conducted by Bro James Smyth, Worshipful Master of Newtownards District L.O.L No.4.It was mentioned that this was the first Lodge instituted locally for something like sixty years, and it was disclosed at the time that the officers were looking forward to having a membership of, at least, 200.The Lodge was confined to ex-servicemen of the 1914-18 and 1939-45 wars and to serving men and as there was over a thousand ex-servicemen in Newtownards they did not think that they would have any difficulty in raising over 200 members. Our banner depicts the D-Day landings, however we also carry a bannerette as shown, commemorating Newtownards most famous son, Lt Col Paddy Mayne.
