In the Pokrovsk sector, soldiers of the Airborne Assault Forces are using automatic rifles to take out Russian troops moving on motorcycles.

This was stated in an interview with Ukrinform by the commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine Major General Oleh Apostol.

“In the Pokrovsk sector, there are certain Air Assault Forces units holding back the enemy. As for the motorcycles, our guys ‘knock off’ in close combat. For the most part, we strike the enemy with FPV drones and ‘loitering’ drones along their movement and logistics routes,” Apostol noted.

According to him, the fighters are well-trained and fearless: As soon as they hear motorcycles, they emerge from cover and eliminate the enemy.

“For example, there was a recent incident where several motorcycles were destroyed with an automatic rifle,” the commander added.
