⇱ Ukrainian drone units destroy Russian Buk-M1, fuel tanks, depots in Luhansk region

Ukrainian unmanned systems units destroyed a Russian Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system, fuel tanks, and supply depots in the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region overnight on April 3.

According to Ukrinform, Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi, announced this on Facebook, along with a video of the combat operation.

"The drones of the 9th Battalion 'Kairos' of the 414th Separate Brigade 'Magyar's Birds' located and destroyed a self-propelled medium-range surface-to-air missile system Buk-M1 near Liubymivka in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region during the night of April 3," Brovdi wrote.

He explained that "this Soviet-era self-propelled device is designed to engage maneuverable aerodynamic targets, including at very low altitudes (from 30 meters)." It was destroyed by a drone carrying a 60-100 kg warhead.

In addition, fuel tanks near Shchotove and MTZ depots in Valianivske in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region were destroyed.

The strikes were carried out in coordination with the Deep Strike Center of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces.

On the night of April 2-3, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck supply and ammunition depots, an oil base, and areas of Russian troop concentration in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
