03.04.2026 15:27
At least five civilians have been killed in Ukraine as a result of today’s Russian attacks.

Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Russia continues its targeted terror against our cities and people, changing its attack tactics. This is not the first time the enemy has struck not only at night but also in broad daylight. Unfortunately, at least five people have been killed: two in the Sumy region, and there are fatalities in Kharkiv, the Kyiv region, and the Zhytomyr region. My sincere condolences to their families,” Svyrydenko said.

She emphasized that the Russians are trying to paralyze normal life in Ukrainian cities, sow fear, and inflict as much harm as possible on civilians who are currently at work, on the streets, or on public transportation.

Indeed, Kharkiv has been under attack from enemy drones for three days straight. This morning, the Kyiv region came under enemy fire—in Obukhiv, a “Shahed” drone struck a residential high-rise building. In Shostka, in the Sumy region, the Russians launched a strike using KAB bombs. Over 100 residential buildings have been damaged in the Zhytomyr region.

The head of government emphasized that Russia must face a firm and consistent response from the international community for this deliberate and targeted terror against civilians.

“Any weakness or delay only encourages the aggressor to continue. Pressure on the aggressor state must only intensify,” Svyrydenko noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, damage resulting from the Russian massive attack on April 3 was recorded in the Bucha, Fastiv, and Obukhiv districts of Kyiv Oblast. One person was killed, and eight others were injured, including a child.
