Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa discussed the situation on the battlefield and successful technological solutions that should be scaled up during a meeting with former U.S. Central Command chief and ex-CIA Director David Petraeus.

According to Ukrinform, Palisa reported this on Facebook.

“I maintain an ongoing dialogue with General David Petraeus and his team. It is always a meaningful conversation with a person whose experience, scale of thinking, and understanding of modern warfare are truly impressive. We discussed the situation on the battlefield, successful technological solutions that are already helping our soldiers, and separately focused on the development of the drone sector and scaling up such approaches,” Palisa said.

According to him, the parties also discussed corps-level reform as an important element in strengthening the effectiveness of military command and control, especially given General Petraeus’s unique practical experience in military leadership, strategic planning, and defense institution reform.
