John G. Ebert Sr. (1911 - 1979)

Biography

John Ebert was the younger of two children and only son of Nicolas and Augusta Ebert.^[1] When he was 19, he was working with his father on their farm in Elizabeth Township.^[2]

John married Lydia Theviot when he was 25 years old. In 1940, he and Lydia were living with two children and John's parent's on the Ebert farm in Elizabeth. ^[3] He farmed in Elizabeth township for 34 years.^[4][5]

John died in Elizabeth at age 68 and is buried in Elizabeth City Cemetery.^[6][7]
