MSI came out full swinging at CES 2026 this year with a slew of new hardware launching for various segments. We've got new graphics cards, cases, coolers, and more coming out from the show floor.

The company also released new premium business notebooks, along with new entries in the Prestige series. Additionally, it introduced the Raider 16 Max, one of the most powerful gaming laptops available, and the Stealth 16 AI+ for those seeking maximum longevity on the go.

Prestige refresh with an updated design

MSI's Prestige range of laptops is designed for those who need to get more done between charges. They're slim, portable, and long-lasting, creating the ultimate environment for busy workloads, and the company gave the series a refresh for CES 2026. As well as switching up the look and feel of these laptops, MSI also threw in a new Action Touchpad and Nano Pen (takes just 13 seconds to charge to 45 minutes of use) to improve versatility, but we're sure the noteworthy aluminum chassis and rounded edging will surely grab some attention.

We've got the Prestige 16 Flip AI+, Prestige 14 Flip AI+, Prestige 14 AI+, and Prestige 16 AI+, providing maximum choice between versatility and the traditional notebook design. Having been designed for work and productivity, the 1.32 kg weight and 11.9 thickness take full advantage of the ultra-slim all-metal build. Intel Core Ultra 300 series processors are available that deliver reliable performance without decimating battery life.

Up to 64GB of RAM can be configured with both the Flip and normal Prestige models, with a healthy choice of Full HD and 2.8K OLED screens, depending on the model. And these screens will be a joy to gaze at all day long, thanks to VESA HDR support, variable refresh rate (VRR), and decent color accuracy scoring to ensure everything pops on-screen. Finally, a power plant of 81 Whrs can keep the Prestige range going into the evening.

Creating the ultimate portable gaming machine

Featuring MSI's cool-performing (and sounding) Cooler Boost Trinity with Intra Flow thermal technology, the Raider 16 Max is all about pushing the envelope further for what it means to be a gaming laptop. To keep everything adequately cooled inside the chassis, we've got three fans, six heat pipes, five vents, and phase-change thermal compound. All this allows for up to 300W of combined power to be delivered to the onboard CPU and discrete GPU.

Now, before anyone assumes otherwise, this machine won't last long on battery alone. It's designed as a portable battlestation one can move between LAN events or the house and set up shop at various locations. But once you're up and running, the Intel Core 200HX series processors really take over with the RTX 5090 laptop GPU. This thing won't have any trouble running the latest and most demanding games.

Weighing in at 2.6 kg, this isn't the lightest of laptops, but it's also not so much of a brick that you'll struggle to take it along for the journey.

Stealthy power and portability

If you did fancy something slightly less extreme, MSI also outed a new Stealth 16 AI+ notebook with a maximum thickness of just 16 mm. Weighing only 1.9 kg, this is a more portable option for those who enjoy gaming on the go and require something that can do a little more than stream games being played. There's a newly redesigned thermal system within the Stealth 16 AI+, which allows the laptop to draw an additional 20W to the GPU alone. So, just because it's light and compact, it doesn't mean it won't perform.

I'm a fan of the Stealth 16 series with its array of I/O, and this latest generation doesn't disappoint with RJ-45 for Ethernet cabling, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and two full-size USB-A for hooking up just about anything to the laptop. What makes this quite the compelling choice for mobile PC gamers is the 90% screen-to-body ratio, ensuring your game is front and center without much excess real estate.

We've got the choice of two OLED panels, one being QHD+ and the other FHD+. The latest Intel Core Ultra 300 series processors are available, as well as RTX 50 series GPUs. Up to 128 GB of DDR5-7200 can be installed to make the most of the available performance, and two M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4 x4 slots are handy for storing all your games. Bringing your own screen? There's even HDMI and DisplayPort (via USB-C).
