We had very little to complain about with the Surface Laptop when we originally reviewed it. It's safe to say that things have only gotten better since then, especially with the numerous new enhancements that have come via software updates.
The Surface Laptop is the Windows laptop to buy if you're looking for something sleek, compact, and powerful. It's the complete package, with the caveat being that it isn't all that affordable with its $2,100 MSRP.
The price makes it nice
Now, it's important to note that this particular model is seeing an impressive discount that drops the price by $800. That means, for a limited time, you can scoop up the Surface Laptop 7 for $1,300.
As far as what you get for that, well, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip that's paired with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. With this combination, you can pretty much do anything with this laptop, and that even includes gaming.
The laptop also features a large 15-inch touchscreen, impressive battery life of up to 22 hours, and a great typing experience. While the port selection isn't all that great, it should be enough for most people, with two USB-C, one USB-A, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
So, if this laptop sounds like what you're looking for, now's going to be a good time to pick one up. The price is great for what you're getting, and the Surface Laptop on its own is a solid choice.
