If you've never given the Persona series a try before, I do recommend giving one of them a shot at the very least. Sure, JRPGs aren't for everyone's tastes, but even if you give one a go and find it's really not for you, that's worth the time, in my opinion. After all, the Persona series is so good that it made a huge impact on the Western gaming market, something that a lot of JRPGs can't say the same about themselves.

Well, if you want to give a Persona game a try but you're not keen on putting money down for one, why not give one a try on the Game Pass? Persona 4 Golden is arriving on the subscription plan tomorrow, and the best part is, you don't even need an Ultimate Pass to play it.

Persona 4 Golden arrives on the Game Pass on August 20th

As announced on the Xbox Wire, there's a new wave of games arriving on the subscription service. It's one of the major perks of using the Xbox Game Pass; there's usually some new games to try every week.

This week, we have Blacksmith Master's game preview and Void/Breaker arriving today. Tomorrow, the critically-acclaimed Persona 4 Golden and Goat Simulator Remastered will release. And the day after that, Herdling will bring up the rear.

My eyes are on Persona 4 Golden. It's a JRPG that really set the stage for the Persona series in the west, until Persona 5 took what 4 set up and ran with it. Best of all, Persona 4 Golden is coming to the Standard, Ultimate, and the PC Game Pass tiers, meaning you can play it on your PC, your console, or on the cloud. And because it's bundled in at no extra cost, you really owe it to yourself to at least give the game a try.
