When it comes to the specifications, you're looking at 6 cores, 16 threads, and 96MB of L3 cache. It has a base clock speed of 4.2GHz and a boosted clock speed that can reach 5.0GHz. So what does this all mean in real-world use?

Well, it's a pretty good chip for those interested in gaming, and it can still perform well for other tasks as well. However, if you're someone who needs single and multi-thread performance, you'll want to look elsewhere.

All in all, we liked this chip at its original price, and think it's a no-brainer at its current discounted price. The best part is that since this is an AM4 chip, you don't really need to go out and buy all new parts to accommodate it if you're currently using an AM4 chip.
