What Prime Day would be complete without deep deals on the brands Amazon owns? This incredible three-unit Eero Pro 6E mesh router kit is just $330 right now, the cheapest it's ever been. This is the kit I use at home to provide stable Wi-Fi for my family while I do my home lab experiments on a second network, and it's fantastic. Not only do you get whole-house protection, but you also get tri-band connectivity, with the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and the new 6GHz bands all working together to make your devices stay connected.

Why buy this mesh Wi-Fi kit?

Wireless connectivity for your devices is a tricky thing to get right in many homes, because walls, appliances, and every other solid object cause interference and make your signal weaker. The fix for that is to add more wireless broadcasters, in the form of mesh nodes, and Eero is still one of the best around. This kit comes with three nodes, for up to 6,000 square feet of wireless coverage in your home, enough for all but the largest locations.

Each node is a fully-featured router with three bands of connectivity, 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, for connecting any devices you have with Wi-Fi. I've got anywhere between 50 and 100 devices connected to my home network at any given time, so I can speak to how solid this kit is when under strain. Plus, each node has a 1GbE and 2.5GbE Ethernet port for connecting to wired devices or for using as a wired backhaul from the main router to use all three Wi-Fi bands for devices.

I've been using a two-node kit of the Eero Pro 6E since launch, and it's been more than enough for the two-bedroom apartment we were in, and the three-bedroom townhouse we're currently in. I can get near-Gigabit speeds when downloading over Wi-Fi with my Gigabit FiOS connection, and the only thing that's stopping me from getting the full speed is the lack of antennas on my client devices. You won't need Wi-Fi 7 for some time, and this Wi-Fi 6E kit from Eero will last for years before you need to upgrade (and even then, it's a matter of adding Wi-Fi 7 Eero nodes to the network, not replacing the whole thing).
