The Finnish Defence Forces' Logistics Command, which procures arms equipment for the FDF, has joined the Coalition for Resilient Procurement and Unified Support (Corpus) alongside similar agencies from seven European countries.
The FDF announced the matter in a press release on Monday.
It said Major General Tero Ylitalo signed the memorandum of cooperation in Kyiv on Thursday 30 April 2026.
According to the FDF, Ukraine initiated the Corpus initiative and its founding members include Finland, Denmark, Italy, Norway, Sweden and the UK.
"The coalition creates a platform for collaboration between defence procurement agencies, combining Ukraine's wartime procurement and sustainment experience with the long-term defence capability development expertise of partner nations," the release read.
In a separate release Ukraine's defence ministry said that Corpus "aims to serve as a permanent platform for strengthening the defence capabilities of Ukraine and its partners, while bringing together procurement agencies to improve coordination, enhance supply system resilience, and deepen cooperation in a dynamic security environment".
"Corpus will become an extensive network of procurement agencies from partner countries. This will enable better procurement planning, help build reliable supply chains, and identify weak links. It will also allow participants to share experience, solutions, and tools, strengthening one another," Artem Romaniukov, Director of a Directorate at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, said in the release.
