First off: THE PURPOSE! To check out other's mixes to use yourself, or just to share your own with the world. Whether you think "people NEED to make this mix!", or to inform people that "putting Gwar on the same CD with No Doubt should never be attempted by anyone", is not important.
This community will start off as an experiment... obviously like 3 people will post here probly, but it's ok. For now i'm only going to allow posts that are mixtapes, and any thing you have to include along with it (explanations, synapses, excuses, etc.) No restrictions on type of music, or length (although, let's be realistic, nobody wants to hear 90 minutes of the hits from live Pearl Jam). The "rules" for now are as follows:
1. The post must be a mix. No track listings = not going to get posted.
2. Your mix must have a theme. e.g., "Acoustic Perfection", or "For After 2am", or even just "I really think my girlfriend would like these songs". Doesn't matter, but something must compell you to put them together, "is this kewl?! i DLed sum nü stuff" is not acceptable, and will not be posted.
3. Like I said, this is still in an experiment... if you have questions, comments, suggestions, that's awesome, and would be helpful to IM me (BlackCityStation) and let me know... or comment somewhere with it. Just no bitching! Not just yet anyway...
