The organizers of last year's Zombie Prom have resurrected with ZOMBASH! an ALL AGES tribute to the Undead! Besides killer prizes for the best dressed zombies, they're also going to have a BRAIN EATING CONTEST!!! From 8pm-9:30pm a professional makeup artist will be on hand to zombify you for just $5!

"There are tons of young adult novels about teens and tweens fending for themselves after the end of the world, but not nearly enough movies. That's why we're excited that the brilliant Australian post-apocalyptic short movie I Love Sarah Jane is up on YouTube in its entirety. Full movie, after the jump.

Sarah Jane follows a group of teens have to parent themselves in a world over-run with zombies. Jane is pretty spot on as to what would actually happen if kids (or me) had to parent themselves in the apocalypse. They all look filthy, the house is a mess, every other word is a curse and they chase each other around with weed whackers. It's got a great twist and absolutely worth a few minutes of your time."

I say: it's nearly 12 minutes long and not too shabby. A little predictable, has a few weak points but also has a number of strong points. All in all, worth the watch. It certainly grabbed my interest, and it's a storyline I'd be interested in learning more about.

zombie survival scenario xx:

Take yourself out of the normal survival pattern. My idea for this test is what do you do if.

You are caught off guard, during the initial outbreak. you find yourself on business or personal time. away from home.you don't have any basic weapons besides what you can scrounge up.
you make you way to the local shopping center. it has a walmart, radio shack, jewelry store, little ceasers(pizza place, a Chinese restaurant, A hibbits sports and a local grocery store.

you find yourself in the company of a pregnant woman, six year old little girl, a twelve year old boy, and old Dr. with a bad ticker, and three tourist who do not speak English.


your job simple with this knowledge and free access to the internet figure out a way to survive both short term and long term out breaks.

rules are simple you can only use in the scenario what you can find that these stores sell you must be able to provide a link, add or photo and post it in the response.

I will also allow the first twenty questions after that you must provide a tight survival plan.

Remember Ed Wood is a night of horror and b-movie rockn'roll with a
free midnight screening of Plan 9 from Outer Space to kick off a
campaign to get Ed Wood a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After all,
its the Hollywood Walk of Fame, not the Hollywood Walk of Talent, right?
Bands include Creature Feature, the resurrected Penis Flytrap featuring
The Aberration and Dr. Satan, Demonia and Glen or Glenda. Burlesque by
Renee du Jour and Miss La Diva. Puppet show by Baboon Torture Division.
Proceeds will go towards the Ed Wood Star Fund.

Let me introduce myself, I make, rent, and sell horror and haunted house props in Los Angeles. I have corpses, body parts, bones, and headstones piled on every flat surface and crammed into every crevace of my house. My neighbors have called the cops on me on multiple occasions, including one full out SWAT team because I have a tendancy to take my work home with me.
It's a good life though, I've worked on some of the weirdest projects imaginable, and chatted with the folks who do the real creepy work.
So I want the live journal community to know, if you ever need to buy a dead body, or maybe just rent one for the weekend, I'm your man. Go ahead, ask for anything, the weirder the better.
I also perform in some of these B movies. Here's a shot of me in the new "Night of the Living Dead 3D"

And I drive a hearse that's been used in all kinds of productions, including one porn.

I'm also a total flickr junky, and started a community for scream queens and other beautiful horrors.

So that's my introduction, stay tuned for updates on all manner of B movies in production and whatever atrocities I'm cooking up in my shop.

New Orleans is becoming a breeding ground for zombies. Think about it.

Dead bodies + toxic chemicals in the water = zombies.
