The AV Level 1 Certification covers networking fundamentals for AV professionals, including the OSI model, VLANs, and multicast. Participants learn to configure NETGEAR switches using the Engage Controller and apply best practices. The course ends with an assessment to validate networking competency.
Pass to earn 6 AVIXA RUs
The AV Level 2 Certification covers medium-scale AV over IP deployments, focusing on Engage, AV switch setup, fiber, PoE, and network head-end components. It includes VLANs, AES67, PTP, bandwidth management, and monitoring. The course ends with a final assessment on designing a AVoIP network.
