It's been six years since that summer adventure when Taichi and the rest of the Chosen Children crossed over to the Digital World, and nearly three years have passed since the final battle between Hikari's group and BelialVamdemon. As the peaceful days passed by, at some point the gate to the Digital World closed. Not even the Chosen Children know what caused this, and time alone continues to pass.

This show was actually pretty good overall. It connects to the original Digimon Adventure show and makes some references to the second season. The protagonists are the kids from the first season who are now graduating from high school. The rest of the franchise doesn't play any role. The second to last arch was very boring and toward the end it got a little tedious, but still there are many entertaining stories and some good drama in there, we get all the ultimate evolutions of all the Digimon. Definitely worth watching.
