Typically, air forces are responsible for gaining control of the air, carrying out strategic-bombing missions and providing support to surface forces. Air forces typically consist of a combination of fighters, bombers, helicopters, transport planes and other aircraft., comedyAnime whose central struggle causes hilarious results. These stories are built upon funny characters, situations and events. A comedy anime is laced with humour and sets out to provoke laughter from the audience. Japanese humour can be a bit strange to westerners, so if you`re new to this type of humour, just bear with it; it`ll most likely grow on you if you`re a fan of other kinds of comedy., contemporary fantasyMagic and supernatural beings exist secretly in what is generally regarded as the real world. Such elements may have originated from another world. Stories where a modern-day character travels to an alternate fantasy world are not considered contemporary fantasy., dragonVery intelligent mythical beings - a cross between a very large lizard and a dinosaur - that breath fire, and have a knack for kidnapping damsels, thus distressing them., love polygonA love polygon refers to a romantic relationship involving n people. Although a love triangle is not limited to just heterosexual relationships, in anime, it usually deals with two females liking one male and vice versa., militaryThe military, also known as the armed forces, are forces authorized and legally entitled to use deadly force so as to support the interests of the state and its citizens. The task of the military is usually defined as defence of the state and its citizens and the prosecution of war against foreign powers. The military may also have additional functions within a society, including construction, emergency services, social ceremonies, and guarding critical areas., newNot based on anything, the story is a new work, usually made up by the people involved in creating the anime. Generally if an original work (原作) credit is given, it will be to the studio, or director, or other members of the production team., romanceRomance describes a story that deals with love between two or more characters typically also having an optimistic ending. Romance is also a difficulty encountered when creating a harem. - [similar]

This series is not remarkable in any way, it is a nonsensical comedy with a silly premise: dragons that are desguised as real aircraft and their "pilots". Yet it is amusing, Hisone and Masotan are funny characters that you can not dislike. Most of the supporting cast is also good. It is an enjoyable show if you keep your expectations down and just want spend time watching a light comedy. The voice actresses are very good, I liked specially Hisone and Ririko voices. However the thing that will remain in my memory is the ending sequence and the music "Le Temps de La Rentrée".

The show has such a creative setting, brilliant humor, great characters and unique art style that set it apart from many other anime. At times the series is touching, at others funny as hell, and above all it is very charming. As others said, it seems as if the people behind it had much fun making the show and put their hearting into it.

I really enjoyed watching this show which is some kind of a "How to train your dragon" show.

The various friendships and relationship were just beautiful, funny and also emotional. Especially the main chars were great and diverse. The perfect HisoMaso combo with Nao thrown in were the chars I liked best.

The story is an interesting mix of action, humour, romance and lore. The animation and character design is utterly beautiful. The flight scenes alone are gorgeous, the landscape and everything else too. The music is relaxing. I loved the atmosphere all over. It had a bit of a slow-paced slice-of-life-show - with dragons and aviators.

Simply good entertainment!

An extremely well-constructed story overall with intelligent comedy, suitably immersive emotional scenes, a well-executed premise (read: actually decent writing and direction), and characters that actually sparkle. It's a production where ye can just tell that the staff enjoyed making it. Also, I rarely chuckle watching anime comedies, but this show had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions. Maybe this falls short of "must see", but I highly recommend it for just about anyone. And, thankfully, the story is suitable for pretty much all audiences.

The may be understood to mean only those enrolled in some sort of educational institution, but, in its widest use, it applies to anyone who is learning, including mid-career adults who are taking vocational education or returning to university, or younger researchers or artists learning from a more experienced colleague and mentor.
