Ousaka Hiroshi was an animator, character designer and illustrator who began his career in 1983 when he joined the animation subcontracting studio Anime R on a part time basis as he was still in college at that time. During his time in Anime R he worked on numerous Sunrise productions and supervised Kimura Takahiro.

* In 1991 he left Anime R and became a freelance animator, still continuing to work on several Sunrise shows.
* In 1998 he co-founded Bones together with Kawamoto Toshihiro and Minami Masahiko.

Having been battling with cancer, he succumbed to the disease on September 24th in 2007.
