As if shamelessly borrowing from Futari wa Precure wasn't enough for the series, it had to copy the 2nd Max Heart movie as well.

This movie does the "Precure suddenly doesn't get along anymore" shtick in a rather half-assed way compared to the Max Heart movie. Because come on, that was a pretty dumb reason for the pair to suddenly not get along. The villain doesn't live up to the standards of the series either, since unlike the other Dark Fall minions, his personality is comparable to Akudaikaan in genericness.

The fights are pretty good though (if rather short), like they usually are when Precure gets the budget to show them. This post was edited by tootbrush (94978) on 15.03.2011 16:20.

This movie was too short, otherwise the source material is quite good.

I think the movie wasnt bad, it was just too short, like maceart mentioned. Real and quality movie should last for at least 2 hours imo.

If there is one notable praise to give, it's that the first short fight against Sir Loincloth Aizen looked sweet as hell. Rest of the movie really did feel like just a retread of the Nagisa/Honoka fight, just not done as well. And overall, it felt rather lacking, as despite it being 50 minutes long, it felt like a standard 25 minute episode. But it didn't feel dragged out, just... Empty.

If you are a Mai fan, the starting of the movie alone might put you off from watching.
Saki just went full shitty attitude, like a girl who had PMS strike that day
