🌍 Offline Country Filtering

The scraper supports offline country filtering using reverse-geocoding on map coordinates no extra API calls needed.

When you select one or more countries in the filterCountries input, the actor reverse-geocodes each member's [latitude, longitude] coordinates locally (using the which-country package) before making any enrichment API calls. Members whose map pin falls outside the selected countries are skipped entirely, saving API credits and significantly speeding up large extractions.

How it works:

1. Member coordinates are fetched from the Skool map
2. Each [lat, lng] pair is reverse-geocoded offline to a country code
3. If the country is not in your filter list → member is skipped, no API call made
4. If the country matches → full profile enrichment proceeds as normal
5. Every output row includes a new countryCode field (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2, e.g. "US", "GB", "DZ")

Key points:

• 🚫 No external geocoding API fully offline, instant, zero extra cost
• 💰 Skips enrichment API calls for out-of-filter members → saves credits on large communities
• 🌐 Leave filterCountries empty to extract all members regardless of country (default behavior)
• 🏷️ countryCode is always present in every output row, even when no filter is set

💡 Example: Filtering a 50,000-member community to US-only members avoids enrichment calls for ~45,000 non-US members, cutting costs by up to 90%.

🔒 Credentials Security & Encryption

Your password and cookies are sensitive credentials they grant access to your Skool account. Here's how the Apify platform protects them:

• Encrypted at rest The cookies and password fields are marked as secret inputs. When you save your Actor input, their values are automatically encrypted using AES-256-GCM, and the encryption key is further protected by a 2048-bit RSA key unique to your account and this Actor.

• Decrypted only inside the Actor The encrypted values are only decrypted within the Actor's execution environment. No other Actor and no other user can access or decrypt your cookies or password.

• Never logged or exposed Secret input fields are never written to logs or displayed in the Apify Console UI. If accessed directly from storage, only encrypted ciphertext is visible.

• Isolated per user and Actor Encryption keys are unique to each user–Actor combination, ensuring complete isolation.

🔄 Resumability

The actor saves state after every batch of 50 users. If it crashes, gets migrated, or is aborted, it resumes exactly where it left off no duplicate work.

For a 100,000-member community, this guarantees at most 50 duplicate rows on a crash restart. The isUserDone() check on reload skips the duplicates anyway.

This actor supports Standby mode it runs as a persistent HTTP server that another actor can call to stream member data in real-time via NDJSON.

When launched in Standby mode, the actor starts an Express server and stays alive indefinitely. Another actor (the "caller") sends a POST request with community URLs, and this actor streams back member data line-by-line as it's enriched no waiting for the full extraction to complete.
