1. Open the Input tab and set Product limit to 10 for a quick first run.
2. Leave Include promoted listings? turned off if you want organic-only results.
3. Keep Scrape emails? turned on if you want website emails too, and leave Proxy configuration on the default unless you need direct mode.
4. Run the actor and inspect the finished dataset in that run, or export the same rows through the API.

Leave Product limit empty or set it to 0 when you want the full daily ladder.

Important

• 🗓️ The JSON examples in this README come from a live run that loaded the Uneed ladder dated 2026-04-12.
• 🗓️ The actor checks the current UTC ladder and fails clearly if that ladder is empty or unavailable.
• 📣 When Include promoted listings? is off, the run verifies live promotion signals. If that verification fails, the run stops instead of mixing paid listings into organic output.
• ⚙️ There is no public concurrency input. I keep that tuned internally for reliability and cost control.

🔍 Error handling

• ⚠️ If the Uneed daily ladder cannot be loaded, the run fails instead of returning an empty dataset.
• ⚠️ If promoted-listing signals cannot be verified while Include promoted listings? is off, the run fails so organic-only output stays trustworthy.
• ⚠️ If one tool is missing required data or its detail page cannot be read, that tool is logged and skipped while the rest of the ladder continues.
• ⚠️ If a tool website cannot be reached during email discovery, the row is still saved with an empty emails array.
• ⚠️ Some nested pages inside the website email crawl may fail without killing the parent tool if the crawl can still finish and emit the row.
