Peter and his class get to Stark Industries for their field trip, but when they get to the front desk there’s no tour guide waiting. Instead Happy pulls Peter aside and tells him the tour guides are all out sick with the flu, and that Pepper wants Peter to lead the tour. Peter’s not freaking out… totally not. He can do this (maybe) if he can just channel Mr. Stark for the day.
OR
Peter is doing his best, Flash is being a jerk, Mr. Harrington is awesome, and Peter and Tony get some important things figured out.

There were many theories about his identity (some more ridiculous than others) but the fact was, none of the SI workers actually knew which one was true. And that’s why they all settled on calling him The Kid.
It’s not like he was really secretive or didn’t talk to anybody. It was quite the opposite actually. He was very talkative and his mouth seemed to never shut up. But he just rarely was in one place long enough to have a longer, meaningful conversation about his identity with anybody. Or he talked so much that nobody had an occasion to ask him any questions.
So he stayed a secret to everyone working in the tower. Until, one day, to everyone’s surprise, he came to SI with a field trip from Midtown High.

"The hell?" Knife guy breathes. He looks at Tony, and then back at the suit. Ned can hear the wheels spinning in his mind. If I have Iron Man, then who is in the suit?
There’s silence for a second, then another. Everyone waits with baited breath until Peter’s tinny voice comes out of the suit. “Give me back my Tony.”

Peter’s class barely makes it in the door to Stark Industries for their field trip when they find themselves in a hostage situation. Peter and Ned know exactly what they have to do to save Mr. Stark from the bad guys. A short fic that’s supposed to be fun and easy to read. Not crack, just fun. Minor angst near the end.

It’s a warm day in June when the dead start to wake.
They’ve not been cold in their graves, or laid out in coffins. These are the folk who lay still and quiet in their homes, or hospital beds. The ones who have been out of time.
It’s the summer solstice, and the ghost-locked are waking up.
