Makima found herself in a strange world after being defeated by Denji and receiving the highest honor of being consumed by the Chainsaw Man. It was certainly a fascinating place that didn't contain Devils, Devil Hunters, or Fiends. However, the only downside to this is that neither did Chainsaw Man... At least until she'd heard rumors of someone resembling him popping up in this new world with her.
For once, it seemed, that Fate itself has left her the best opportunity on a silver platter. There were no other competing devils to stand in her way. It was just her and Chainsaw Man in this world filled with bothersome heroes and villains. All she had to do now was find him and ensure that he is hers and hers alone. If she had to become a necessary evil to have him all to herself, then so be it.
