@xiota I reinstalled Arch on my laptop, updated my system right after, and updated after installing yay, and now it downloads properly. I apologize for any trouble, and thank you for the help.

@dumbladyellie I asked whether you're using a fully updated vanilla Arch instance because delayed updates and brand new packages can cause problems.

Some AUR helpers save caches that can cause problems. Some build tools save caches in the user home folder. You would have to find them all and clear them. Building in clean chroot ensures there are no caches or extraneous packages that could interfere with build.

If the problem is intermittent, there could be a race condition somewhere.

@xiota I installed arch via archinstall, so that maybe could cause issues, but I wouldn't think so. I've had installation be hit or miss on Endeavour OS. By clearing caches I'm guessing you mean clearing pacman caches, which I'll try.

I'm not sure, it seems like issues are on and off. Sometimes installation works fine, sometimes it doesn't. It would probably be best to try and build in a chroot though, as it's more than likely something on my end.

@dumbladyellie Are you running fully updated vanilla Arch? Did you try clearing caches and building in a clean chroot?

I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not, but whenever installing it hangs at "node_modules/electron: Running postinstall script...

I'm not sure if it's necessary, but in order to give any needed info, I'm leaving the log below

Does this package still work for anyone? On my system vencord opens the discord client but it does not appear to have any vencord options available in the menu + the client treats itself as a web client so no custom keybinds can be set. Anyone experiencing similar issues or should i be digging into my system to see what might be causing this?

edit: nvm i right clicked on tray icon and did "repair vencord" and everything is working again

When I try to install, I get

SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'e', "error code: 1015" is not valid JSON

I've tried once or twice for a few days now, if this is actually me getting rate limited idk what to do. (I hope this kind of comment fits etiquette here, this is my first comment)

Hi, @NoaHimesaka. Thanks, it was a leftover from previous maintainer(s). It should be fixed now.

Although this package has aarch64 in its supported architecture, in practice, it fails to build on aarch64 because of output directory difference. On AArch64, instead of dist/linux-unpacked, it gets outputted to dist/linux-arm64-unpacked.
