The pref media.ffmpeg.customized-buffer-allocation has been baked on Nightly 98 and 99, and we haven't seen any big issues.
Currently known issue are bug 1752388 (an assertion failure on certain files, but not common), a texture recycling issue (already fixed by bug 1750858). So we can consider to enable it on Beta to let more users try this feature.
