Bug 2011234 started the deprecation of executeScript in extension documents.

Bug 2015559 enforces the deprecation by setting the extensions.webextensions.allow_executeScript_in_moz_extension pref to true on all channels.


The preference continues to exist for a few releases to serve as an emergency flag, to allow users who encounter broken extensions to revert to the original behavior while awaiting an extension update with a fix.
