Canta Occulta (or Hidden Singing), technically should be Carmines Occultae, which would be "Hidden Songs" (thanks (👁 Image

)!), but that wouldn't fit in the alotted letter amount. This is (yet another) MP3 sharing community. This one, however, is dedicated to the more hard-to-find MP3s. These can range from eurodance songs of the mid-90s, songs off of Broadway soundtracks, older tracks from the 50s to the 90s, hard-to-find tracks from today, and songs from animes and video games. Wide range, eh? And, of course, you can still request popular and new stuff, too! There aren't too many rules about what you can ask for here, but I'd like to try and make this community based more on the harder-to-find stuff, since there are so many other MP3 share communities for the more readily available and/or popular songs.

A few things to note:
Some bands/artists like to have their songs floating around as MP3s because it gives them wider exposure and helps them find additional audiences for their work; others are absolutely against having their work readily available in a free, high-quality format. In those cases, the tracks should be downloaded after 24 hours or the CD should be bought.

There are many ways to send MP3s and other types of audio files. First, specify in your request which file type you're looking for (MP3, WMA, doesn't matter, etc.). Second, specify how someone who may have the song you're looking for can get the file to you. You can leave your e-mail address, a messenger screenname, tell the person to use , etc. If you tell someone to send it to your e-mail address, though, make sure that your storage capacity is sufficient to handle the incoming files.

If you'd like to promote your own band/CD/song/whatever, feel free to do that as well.

Most suggestions can be posted to the community itself.

Any questions regarding this community or other suggestions can be sent to me, Taryn, at ScatterMew @ Gmail.com (without spaces, of course).
