As we step into a new year, we’re happy to invite you to take part in “Your Most Memorable Shot 2025.”

Since 2018, photographers from across the Wikimedia community have come together at the beginning of each year to share the photographs that meant the most to them over the past twelve months. Now in its eighth iteration, this tradition continues to be a space for reflection, storytelling, and celebrating meaningful moments through photography.

Whether you are a member of the Commons Photographers User Group or not, you are warmly welcome to participate and invite others too. Every image carries a story, and your perspective helps enrich this collective showcase.

Whenever you’re ready, please select your most cherished photograph from 2025 and share it on the designated page.

The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2026, so we hope you’ll join us before then.

Місячник ілюстрування української природи — це проєкт, присвячений ілюструванню української Вікіпедії та Вікіданих світлинами з фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить Землю» і триває він з 10 лютого до 10 березня 2026 року.

Семеро активних учасників та учасниць вже протягом майже місяця опрацьовують десятки і сотні статей Вікіпедії та елементів Вікіданих.

Зробіть свій внесок і ви!

Щоб стати учасником чи учасницею кампанії, нагадуємо:

1️⃣проілюструйте принаймні одну статтю української Вікіпедії чи один елемент Вікіданих фотографією з фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить Землю»;

2️⃣додайте себе у розділ «Учасники та внесок» на сторінці проєкту;

3️⃣регулярно додавайте свій внесок у той розділ згідно із системою балів.

5 найактивніших учасників та учасниць конкурсу отримають цінні призи від організаторів — сертифікати інтернет-магазинів. Усі учасники й учасниці також зможуть отримати офіційний сертифікат участі від «Вікімедіа Україна» та сувеніри.

З 1 лютого по 31 березня 2026 року завантажуйте світлини, відео та аудіо нематеріальної культурної спадщини у Вікісховище та долучайтеся до її популяризації.

«Вікі любить фольклор» — це міжнародний конкурс, метою якого є документування народних традицій, вбрання, танців, співів, святкувань та обрядів, щоб наповнити Вікіпедію якісними зображеннями для ілюстрування статей. Щоб взяти участь, перейдіть на сторінку «Вікі любить фольклор».

П'ять найкращих світлин отримають цінні призи та сувеніри на українському етапі конкурсу.

Три учасники чи учасниці, які своїми фото проілюструють найбільше статей Вікіпедії та інших вікіпроєктів, також отримають призи в українській частині конкурсу. Всі фото, відео та аудіо будуть брати участь у міжнародному змаганні.

Важливо! Для участі в конкурсі необхідно вказати детальний опис фольклорної цінності матеріалів (назва події чи обряду, хто виконує/бере участь, місце, дата тощо).

Також з 1 лютого по 31 березня проходить конкурс статей «Фемінізм та фольклор 2026» — щорічна міжнародна ініціатива у межах кампанії «Вікі любить фольклор», що спрямована на висвітлення культурного розмаїття та гендерної інклюзивності у Вікіпедії.

Jeff G., my understanding of cropping a CC-BY-2.0 photo is that: (a) attribution is required (credit the original author, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made, stating that the image has been modified (e.g., "Cropped").
