A community dedicated to the life of Anne Frank

Here's a list of things I'd bring if I had to go into hiding:
-As many books as I could!
-Pens, paper
-Pictures- family, friends, pets, etc.
-My cat if I could!
-Tolietries (Don't think I spelled that right)
-Blanket, pillow, sheets
-Clothes--Of course!
-Scrabble
-Dictionary
-School books
-Bible
-Music

I'm sure I'll think of more I'd bring!

Anne Frank would have been 78 years old today! It is also 65 years since she recieved her diary on her 13th birthday.

Anne Frank's always been the only one I could relate to. Her words have always stood by me. And I know her death broke my heart, though it happened decades before my time. This summer, my family is visiting Amsterdam. My parents have promised me a trip to the old Anne Frank house. I'll be sure to report on details and to cry. I'm very sure to cry. Thanks for giving me a place to pay my respects. Sorry if my icon is too happy for this site. Thanks.
Glad to find this community and be a part of it. I have always been intrigued by her diary and I loved reading it. I think the integrity of Anne Frank's words are a really important reminder to all people to stop hatred.

I was on the Anne Frank yahoo group and some one said that A.F. was not arrested with the others in the Annex. Margot and Her was betrayed by someone in the office about a few weeks later.I told her the real facts but I heard that rumour some where.

Ok I watched the Anne Frank movie yesterday and thought it was very sad. I recorded it but every time I see the part where she just gave up and the camp was liberated just 2 weeks later, I cryed. I thought though the girl who played her, Hannah Taylor Gordon did a awsome job. Well I tryed to create a community for her talent.

If Anne Frank was alive today, she would have been 76 years old today! Today is also 63 years since Anne Frank recieved her 1st diary for her 13th birthday, in which she wrote: "I hope I will be able to confide in you, since I've never been able to confide in anyone. I hope you will be a great source of comfort and support."
