Dans certains pays anglophones de l'hémisphère nord, le 1er août est Lammas Day, le festival de la récolte du blé, et est le premier festival de récolte de l'année. Lammas coincides with the feast of St. Peter in Chains, commemorating St. Peter's miraculous deliverance from prison.
