Le comportement proactif implique d'agir avant une situation future, plutôt que de réagir. Cela signifie prendre le contrôle et faire avancer les choses plutôt que de s'adapter à une situation ou d'attendre que quelque chose se produise. In regard to the latter, whereas adaptability is about responding to change, proactivity is about initiating change. Proactivity is not restricted to behaviors. Employees can be proactive in their prescribed role. Likewise, behaviors labeled as Organizational Citizenship Behavior can be carried out proactively or passively.
