Thessalonique (grecque: Θεσσαλονίκη (écouter)), souvent désigné internationalement comme Thessalonique ou Salonique, est la deuxième plus grande ville de Grèce et la capitale de la région géographique de la Macédoine grecque, la région administrative de Macédoine centrale et l'Administration décentralisée de Macédoine Et la Thrace. Son titre honorifique est Συμπρωτεύουσα (Symprotévousa), littéralement "co-capitale", et est une référence à son statut historique comme la Συμβασιλεύουσα (Symvasilévousa) ou la ville co-régnante de l'Empire romain oriental (Byzantine), à côté de Constantinople.
