Un parleur est un système de discussion que les gens utilisent pour se parler sur Internet. Datant des années 1980, ils étaient un prédécesseur de la messagerie instantanée. Many of the online metaphors used on talkers, such as "rooms" and "residency", were established by these early pioneering services and remain in use by modern 3D interfaces such as Second Life.
