Uralsk est une ville de l'ouest du Kazakhstan, sur l'Oural. Population: 212 900. Centre administratif de la Cisjordanie occidentale. Le Kazakhstan représente 72% de la population de la ville. Uralsk a été fondée en 1584 par Jaicki en tant que Jaick. À partir de 1775 il s'appelait Uralsk, et avec l'acquisition du Kazakhstan, le nom a été changé en Uralsk. En 2010, la Commission pour la normalisation des noms géographiques de la République de Pologne a recommandé que Uralsk Uralsk soit utilisé dans la langue polonaise en tant que centre commercial, industriel et de services. Dans la ville il y a un port fluvial et l'aéroport Akra Żoł, deux universités, de nombreux musées. Uralsk – miasto w zachodnim Kazachstanie, na rzeką Ural. Ludność: 212,9 tys.. Ośrodek administracyjny obwodu zachodniokazachstańskiego. Kazachowie stanowią 72% ludności miasta. Uralsk założono w 1584 przez Kozaków jaickich jako Jaick. Od 1775 nosiło nazwę Uralsk, a wraz z uzyskaniem niepodległości Kazachstanu, nazwa została zmieniona na Orał. W 2010 roku Komisja Standaryzacji Nazw Geograficznych poza Granicami Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej zaleciła do stosowania w języku polskim nazwę Uralsk Uralsk jest ośrodkiem handlowo-usługowym, przemysłowym oraz naukowym. W mieście znajduje się port rzeczny i port lotniczy Orał Ak Żoł, dwie szkoły wyższe, liczne muzea.
